1. INTRODUCTION
Slums are very gross and dirty, over one million people live in them. It Is very sad that a lot of people are that poor and have to in live in mud. Many young children have no home or live with there families in slums. A slum is similar to a large ditch in mountains, and there is mud, and water and people living in them, people that are poor usually live in there. Slums have a negative effect in human population due to unsanitary conditions, dirty water, and almost no medical care. also many people die there because of diseases. Slums have a lot of unsanitary conditions.
